Target of the activity now is mainly to increasing of sphalerite/galena and copper production to reach 4,000 MT and 5,000 MT in the next 2 months. The whole production will be delivered to our buyer in China ( Tianjin Machinery Corporation ), and chromite ore for 5000 MT.
By the month of September this year (2007), nickel ores production will start on 20,000 MT and can be increase into 60,000 MT in the next 3 month, with 1,6% nickel content.
Optimistically, we can produce more ores base on our other location which under development and will be started the production very soon.
Be in compliance with New Law and Regulations in Mining and Energy, Integra’s main target within 2 years is to build processing plant of nikcel laterite ores. To implement that, we form group of specialist working world wide making preparation and gathering every steps in nickel laterite ore processing which requires specialized facilities and equipments.
We understand both Pyrometallurgical and Hydrometallurgical processes are applied commercially to the recovery of nickel and cobalt from lateritic ores. Pyrometallurgical techniques tend to utilise saprolite, and Hydrometallurgical processes are more applicable to the limonitic laterites.
Overall, laterite project economics are highly sensitive to ore grades. As laterite can only be upgraded to a very limited extent, plant size and waste volumes are relatively high per unit of metal recovered. However, energy is also main issue which both above process requires high energy steps.
